The Research branch of SHF aims to produce high quality, relevant research on trafficking in persons (TiP) and modern day slavery (MDS) in order to support survivors and aid practitioners/policy makers to engage with this complex topic.
We achieve this by:
- Making existing research in MDS and TiP easier to access
- Supporting and producing research that shapes governmental response and public policy in TiP and MDS
- Supporting the SHF Survivor Support branch through research which aims to improve survivor experience
In 2014 we published ‘Becoming Hope: stories, reflections and recommendations for trafficking and slavery in the UK’. This is available for download here alternatively we have a limited number of hard copies available – please complete the request for below
