Research

The Research branch of SHF aims to produce high quality, relevant research on trafficking in persons (TiP) and modern day slavery (MDS) in order to support survivors and aid practitioners/policy makers to engage with this complex topic.

We achieve this by:

  • Making existing research in MDS and TiP easier to access
  • Supporting and producing research that shapes governmental response and public policy in TiP and MDS
  • Supporting the SHF Survivor Support branch through research which aims to improve survivor experience

In 2014 we published ‘Becoming Hope: stories, reflections and recommendations for trafficking and slavery in the UK’. This is available for download here alternatively we have a limited number of hard copies available – please complete the request for below
